AONB Visitor Guide 2010 - a new guide to keeping the Dedham Vale special is now available!

Also celebrating our 40th Anniversary, 2010 sees the first Visitor Guide published for the length of the Dedham Vale AONB.  Previous versions have focused on Constable Country around Flatford and Dedham.  The publication is a comprehensive 28 page visitor guide and the new look Guide is a user-friendly pocket book size, enabling it to fit into a jacket pocket, rucksack or car glovebox.  It contains a wealth of information on the area including places to stay, things to see and do, getting aound and much, much more.

The Visitor Guide promotes enjoying the great outdoors and encourages visitors to explore the area via sustainable means, such as cycling or walking.  A new feature for the publication is an introduction to wildlife indigenous to the AONB, which incorporates seasonal highlights and a brief overview of some of the work undertaken by the Project.  In addition, there is a double page feature spread on the strong Cultural Connections of the area, aiming to highlight the rich cultural diversity that the AONB enjoys and widening the interest from John Constable.
