There is a great opportunity to join the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) team hosted by Suffolk County Council as a Natural Heritage Officer!

Are you an enthusiastic project manager with a creative flair who can bring the landscapes of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths and Dedham Vale AONBs to life?

Does the idea of spending time out in these special landscapes, inspiring others to find out more about them motivate you?

Does a varied job, covering website management and event organisation to outreach work and training volunteers sound interesting?

As part of the role, you will lead the delivery of a series of outreach projects as part of the bigger ‘Celebrating 50 Years’ Project, made possible with a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, to increase understanding and enjoyment of the AONBs and to celebrate everything that is special about these areas 50 years on from their designation.

  • £27,041 – £30,451 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • Part time, 20 hours per week
  • Fixed term until 31 March 2025 (project)

The closing date for applications is 11:30pm on Thursday 25th November 2021.

Does this sound like the job for you? Find out more about the role and apply!
