Free Trail Running Taster Sessions

Join the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) for our free-of-charge AONB trail running taster sessions to have a go in a fun, no-pressure environment.

Sessions are open to people of all abilities, with options to run as little as 2.5km, or as much as 10km on our guided routes.

Why take up trail running? Running in a great way to get outdoors, improve your fitness and mental wellbeing, explore your local surroundings, and socialise with others.

Joining one of our free guided trail runs takes away the stress of planning your route or getting lost, improving your knowledge of the AONB and countryside navigation skills along the way.

Taster sessions will be led by trail running coach, Tom Wake, who has many years of experiencing coaching people of all levels and is a Salomon sponsored ambassador.

  • Saturday 17th September – 9:00am – Cattawade. Book now

Wetlands for Wellness Walks

Research shows that spending time near water has a positive impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

Our free Wetlands for Wellbeing guided walk series aims to harness the effects of water by connecting people to many of the wonderful wetland habitats in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Led by a specialist guide, these events are an opportunity to enjoy a short stroll around local wetland habitats, such as rivers, marshes and coastlines, pausing along the way to be guided through simple mindfulness practices.

If you would like to take part in a Wetlands for Wellbeing event, follow the links to book via our Eventbrite page:
